Each week veteran radio personality NEW YORK VINNIE RICHICHI test drives a new car, truck or S.U.V. and boils his thoughts down into a two minute critique called DRIVETIME. The feature is entering it’s 14th year on Seattle Radio. Prior to becoming one of Seattle’s most recognizable radio personalities Vinnie spent a long time in the car business, growing up around the smell of gasoline and the screech of tires. Vinnie has driven competitively and for a living and he also is a classic car collector. He also knows what’s under the hood …he has been licensed in the past by the state of New York as a automotive and truck state inspector and a collision damage appraiser. The guy knows cars.
Each week Vinnie takes two minutes to give prospective car buyers his two cents worth on everything from a$200,000 Bentley Continental Flying Spur to a$12,000 Toyota Yaris. Are hybrids worth it? Are Smart Cars smart cars? Whats better, a used Honda or a new Hyundai? Vinnie has answered all of these questions on DRIVETIME and done it in plain simple language that anyone can relate to. It’s like asking the guy next door who knows about cars what to buy.
You get the stats on the websites and the car magazines…Vinnie gives you the seat of the pants straight up scoop on the latest wheels on DRIVETIME.
